Fall Is In The Air or Is It Winter

Hope everyone had a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. This week is suppose to be the peak of our fall season....thought I would share a few pictures from my front porch.

This Monday morning is very chilly...the high will only be in the 40's. It certainly feels as though winter has arrived rather than fall. I ran a few errands this morning, will pick the remainder of the tomatoes off the vines (the first freeze of the season is forecasted for tonight), and the rest of the day will be spent painting.

I will share Wednesday what came marching into my craftroom over the weekend.

I must also share a giveaway over at the Pickled Pepper Patch http://charsethman.blogspot.com/. Char is celebrating her daughter Amy's 21st birthday that will be on November 1st and is giving away a primitive wooden toaster cover. You will be so blessed by this site.... Char is soooo generous. Thanks Char.

Have a great day!

Blessings,

Kathy

Fall is still out there :) I'm seeing the leaves disappear more and more day after day. It's sad...I just don't like to see everything dead. It's not too bad when it's covered in a beautiful snowfall but even that doesn't stay pretty for long :(

Thank you for your kind words and prayers on this hard day! It means a lot :)

Have a great day!

It's prety chilly in my neck of the woods...not sure if old man winter is going to drop by for a visit or not...I'd rather he not...lol!

Your view from your porch is gorgeous. Our leaves are gone here in Michigan & we had a few flurries today but it melted. It's way cold, though.

Thanks for the great view! I just love watching the colors change in the fall. It's in the 40's here! Brrrr. I'm not ready for this cold weather yet.

Thanks for always leaving me such sweet comments. I greatly appreciate them.

HI Kathy, I live 9 miles from Maryville college. I'm inbetween Maryville and Townsend so Im pretty much in the mountains LOL I LOVE it here, its beautiful and peaceful. Tell your daughter to bundle up today it's COLD! She's very fortunate, Maryville College is one of the top small private colleges in the country! Do you visit often?

Such a small world!! I bet she eats like every other college student. Ask her if she'd like some homemade pumpkin bread, I make the one from Char's blog. I'd be glad to take her a loaf! Is she going to make it home for the holidays?? I think most of them around here do go home. Keep in touch~
