Taking It Easy

This afternoon I'm just going to take it easy...I made pimento cheese and tuna salad for the coming week. In the crockpot there is fresh green beans, potatoes and carrots with a big ole piece of ham to season it.
I started reading Kansas Brides by Denise Hunter a couple of months ago; short stories about 4 brides...I've read the first one. I will be home alone for the next 4 or 5 hours so my plan is to read this afternoon ...that is if I don't fall asleep.
So enjoy your Sunday and try to stay cool.

Kathy

Hi Kathy~
Now that sounds like a delightful afternoon!

You daughter will be attending college in Maryville? That is about 5 hours east of us. However, my parents live in Maryville and we visit often. It is such lovely country and a very nice town. They lived in Berea, KY, before Maryville.

I know you'll be missing your precious girl, won't you? How far away will she be from you? Hopefully close enough to visit often.

Blessings,
Lea
